Job Overview
We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Compass Health Network. This role is vital in ensuring the health and safety of employees across our diverse service areas, and it comes with a compelling $4000 sign-on bonus to support your transition into this important position.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage clinical reviews of occupational exposures and oversee the administration of the workers’ compensation program in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide educational resources and skill development opportunities to employees, fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
- Conduct initial and annual health screenings for employees, ensuring adherence to health requirements and standards.
- Investigate workplace incidents, monitor open claims, and facilitate return-to-work strategies in collaboration with supervisors.
- Organize and implement employee health fairs and manage vaccination programs, promoting overall wellness within the organization.
- Prepare and present injury reports at the monthly Safety Committee meeting, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required Skills
- A strong background in nursing, with a minimum of three years of experience in community health or a hospital setting.

- RN licensure in Missouri is mandatory, with a Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) credential preferred (support for development will be provided).
- Experience in managing occupational exposures and conducting training is highly desirable.
