Front Desk Clerk (Part-Time) id-1594

Job Summary:


Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Front Desk Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. We are seeking a professional with a strong customer service background and excellent administrative skills.


Description:


The Front Desk Clerk is primarily responsible for handling guest interactions with a friendly demeanor, maintaining an organized front desk, and ensuring that all front office operations run smoothly. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hospitality industry, we would like to meet you.


Responsibilities:


– Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms


– Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs


– Verify guests’ identification and registration


– Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees


– Manage online and phone reservations


– Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner


Requirements:


– Proven experience as a front desk clerk or receptionist


– Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping


– Proficient in English (oral and written)


– Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)


– Strong communication and people skills


– Good organizational and multitasking abilities
